FOCAS – Magical Festive Masterclass with bubbles, canapes, music and joy  - Friday 5th December 6pm

On the 5th of December at 6pm in the Sydling St Nicholas Village Hall the Friends of Cerne Abbas School along with Tattie Rose Studio will be hosting a magical evening celebrating the festive season with a masterclass in winter and Christmas decorating. There will be bubbles and canapés, music, and joy- whilst Tattie demonstrates some exciting ideas to bring the outside in over the colder months, including garlands, wreaths and a table scape. She will also talk about her approach to flowers and decorating in the winter for larger and more intimate occasions.

After welcome drinks and canapés, there will be a donation bar, a raffle and each guest will receive a goody bag of useful tools included in their ticket price (£35 per person) to take home and use to make something wonderful in their own time.

To reserve a space please email Emma on emma_knight@hotmail.com

A bit about FOCAS

FOCAS stands for Friends Of Cerne Abbas School. We are essentially a PTFA - Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, and we are an integral part of the the school community.

Over many years we have raised thousands of pounds which has been used to fund equipment, experiences and resources to enhance our children's educational experience and the schools facilities.

Our association is about much more than simply fundraising. FOCAS exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. And it's great fun too!

All parents and members of the school community are welcome to get involved. As soon as your child joins our lovely school you automatically become a member.

We have an Annual General Meeting every May/June which provides an excellent opportunity for all parents to hear in more detail about our work, past events, how much has been raised and how money has been spent. It is also when new members are elected.

We're a very friendly group and there is no pressure to be involved in every event, you can just help whenever you can or would like to. All new ideas welcome too!
