Our Hedgehog Walk 6.10.23

This week Giant & Duckling class completed a walking challenge to raise money for the the Wildlife Trusts. The children turned into hedgehogs (creating our own hedgehog masks) and walked a grand total of 3.5km over the week- the same distance real hedgehogs travel in one night! We walked through woods, along the river, up hills and around our village; keeping in good spirits as we walked the total distance over three afternoons. Well done, everyone! 

Thank you to everyone who sponsored the children; we have raised £65 for the Wildlife Trusts which is fantastic. The page is still open if you would like to see our progress or contribute. We feel it is so important for children to learn that they can make a difference to their community and the world around them so thank you in enabling us to experience that this week. The local hedgehogs will be very pleased!
