To Infinity and Beyond! 14.11.13

This week we have started our new topic ‘To Infinity and Beyond!’ and have had our learning capture- a visit to a planetarium. The children were very excited by the planetarium and spend most of the time in awe of what they were seeing! We watched rockets set off to the moon, we visited the moon, saw the Mars rover land, learnt all about the planets and stars in our solar system and even sang some songs! Simon, the man who led the session commented on how well the children behaved and how they asked great questions. We hope this learning capture has started the topic off with a ‘bang!’We will continue to refer back to this experience throughout our topic.
