Week 1 First week back - Story Teller :)

Welcome back!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas holiday and you are all raring to go for this half term!

This week has been great with lots of learning going on. In English we have been learning about instructional texts and in maths we have been consolidating and improving our knowledge of place value. We have started our topic which is 'light and dark' and we have started Gymnastics in PE. We have also had a story teller come in this week on our first day back, which was a great experience with all of the children really enjoying themselves. They were extremely creative and inquisitive.

This blog is only going to be brief as quite a lot of the important information for the next coming weeks is included in the parent letters that were handed out on Thursday 5th January. If anybody has any questions about anything that is included please come and see me.

Draughts club will be every Thursday lunchtime and anybody is welcome to come along :) Prizes for beating the teacher!
