Our learning in the week has consisted of finishing off our segment of fractions in maths, completing a first draft of an advert to sell the 'Wild Wood' from the Wind in the Willows, learning about Boudicca in Topic, exploring the messages within the Bible and much, much more! he children have been doing a great job at school and at home so keep this up!
We have an Instrument Road show on Friday 25th November as well as non-school uniform in aid of Heart response. This is in exchange for clothing items. See the newsletter for more information.
It is with great excitement and anticipation that I can announce the rehearsals for the upcoming nativity performance are underway. As you are probably aware, the children have got their scripts which should be brought into school every day. They are very special so we need to take care of them :) Costume letters have gone out on Tuesday which gives you plenty of time. Any problems or queries come and speak to me.
Just a gentle reminder about home learning. I remind the children in class about the expectations but in the next upcoming term I am expecting further independence from the children. A continued effort from both parties is needed.
We also took part in a Basketball festival at St Osmunds School, Mia, Niamh, Ella, Max, Aldo, Will, Oliver and Jack did the school proud and came close to winning, we lost our only game by 5-4 and came second!!
Hope you have a great weekend,
Mr Mitchem :)
