Coastal erosion 15.10.15

This week we finished off our geography coastal topic by researching a form of coastal erosion. We then joined groups and decided how we wanted to present our learning. Some of us made power points, others painted pictures and others made videos (I shall try and upload these).

Mr Christian brought in his amazing fossil collection and the present day equivalents so we could see how creatures had changed, or not, over millions of years!

In English we finished our topic on Newspaper reports by writing our own report on Mary Anning. The children really thought about how to write a successful newsreport and there were some very successful ones using all the success criteria. I hope you enjoyed reading them in their topic books.
