Week 2 - Children in need, Jurassic Park and Michael Rosen

The children in Abbey class have had a fantastic week. The highlight being our class trip to see Michael Rosen at the Weymouth Pavilion. He kept the children on the edge of their seats telling funny stories and tales of his life, especially during his naughty childhood! Some of the children even managed to get signed copies of his books!

We have also been really interested in our topic learning, completing research on a chosen inventor. The children worked cooperatively in groups to create a powerpoint describing their chosen inventor and the life-changing invention.

Maybe one day a child from Abbey class might create an invention that will change the way people live in the world...
