Virtual travel to Australia 14.06.13
This week we began to travel to Australia for our learning.
We compared rainfall and temperature in several locations in Australia by comparing graphs in ICT.
Mrs Crisford's lovely daughter, Genevieve, came to tell the class about her year working in different locations in Australia. We took notes on her jobs, locations, the animals and buildings she saw, the transport she used and the terrain she travelled through.
Mr Christian brought in a range of purses, wallets, passport holders and money belts he had used on his travels around the world. Then we began to plan our money passport containers to take on our virtual journeys to Australia.
