Harvest Festival
On Tuesday we had our Harvest Festival at the church. Giant class were absolutely amazing!!! Myself and Mrs Barrett were very proud of how confident Giant Class were in their song 'Old McDonald had a Farm' and how courteous they sat in the church during the service.
Well done Giant class!
Harvest Fun 09.10.15
On Wednesday we had a wonderful time with Martin, a storyteller who came in to help us learn about Autumn and the seasons. He told us some great stories which we joined in with and then some songs which he played on his Ukelele. We went to the Peace Garden and made homes and gifts for a character from one of his stories and we made potions to capture the smells of Autumn!
In our Computing learning time we created pictures of our favourite learning from our session with Martin, the children drew some great pictures. In the afternoon some of the children chose to make beautiful leaf print pictures of Autumn leaves from the Peace Garden.
At the very end of the day we all had an assembly where we shared our learning from the day and some of Giant class stood up at the front of the hall to talk about their learning.
