Carnival Capture Week! 12.06.14
We had a really wonderful afternoon on Tuesday learning the Cha Cha. Giant Class were so focused on learning the moves and loved listening to the music and moving to the rhythms. The children loved performing to all of the parents, thank you to everyone who came to watch and who joined in with the dancing at the end!
We were very lucky to be invited to watch the Gaudier Ensemble in the church on Thursday morning. The children behaved so well and were mesmerised by the musicians playing.
We have been busy writing our own animal stories this week in Literacy. Everyone tried very hard, even though it was quite tricky! In Maths this week we have been learning how to add and take away.
On Friday we will be having a drumming workshop which we are very excited about. We hope that this week’s activities will inspire the children to learn more about our topic ‘Carnival’.
