Giant class were all very interested and made lots of their own Rangoli Patterns with lots of different media and materials as well as looking on the internet and in books to find out facts about Rangoli Patterns and Diwali.

Art based on Andy Goldsworthy

On Tuesday afternoon we enjoyed creating art based on the British artist Andy Goldsworthy. He creates his art using natural items and either creates pictures or sculptures. Please have a look at what Giant Class created in the Peace Garden after we had learnt about Andy Goldsworthy.

Rainforest Installation

Giant class spent this morning with Trendle class and they made lots of different animals and trees to create  a rainforest. This afternoon the whole school put the rainforest together and made an amazing installation piece of art! At the very end of the day the whole school went to walk through our rainforest and the children were all very excited and proud of what they had achieved. Today has shown how co-operative the children are in this school. It has been wonderful to see all of the children learning together and having lots of fun being creative! Wow!

A positive, purposeful and enthusiastic atmosphere
