Mr Wolf's Pancakes!

We have had a very tasty first week back at school! We have enjoyed reading the story Mr Wolf's Pancakes this week.

On Tuesday we had a our topic capture - we made pancakes! The children showed me their great learning with Mrs Ferguson by helping me weigh and measure the ingredients! They had great fun cooking the pancakes with the fabulous Mrs Nottley and Mrs Price! I hear only one pancake landed on the floor!! Hehe! We had lots of pancakes to share - they were delicious! Great cooking Trendle Class!

In Maths the rest of the week we have been counting in 2s and learning simple multiplication with the 2 times table. Trendle Class have tried so hard!

In English we have been writing recipes for pancakes! They are now experts in pancakes!

We also had our class reward on Tuesday for good behaviour-our marble jar was full! The children chose to have a party so we had some party games and a pancake each in the afternoon! So much fun! We will now begin the half term with an empty marble jar...I wonder what reward they'll choose for when it is full again?!
