Becoming story writers 06.02.14
We have continued developing our story-writing skills this week, but this time with a focus on creating alternative versions of the story of 'The Three Little Pigs'. It has been great to see the children coming up with such imaginative and innovative ideas and I look forward to sharing their new stories with them in a story-telling session next week.
We have continued to make good progress with constructing our Fairytale castles with lots of carefully- crafted structures appearing. We plan to complete these next week in time for our Learning Exposure on Thursday 13th February at 2.45pm, when we look forward to sharing our designs and models with you.
Next week we will also be investigating the properties of different materials as part of our Science and DT learning about Shelters. Linking with our study of Traditional tales, we will be designing, making and testing bridges for strength and durability to withstand the fierce troll who lives underneath!
