Mrs Cain's INSET Day Learning! 30.10.17

On Monday I had a brilliant and inspiring INSET day learning more about being a teacher and how to teach the wonderful children in Giant Class! I had the amazing opportunity to hear Guy Claxton speak at our INSET day at the Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester. I now have lots of great new ideas to help Giant Class learn with an emphasis on their learning dispositions and attitudes to learning which is already a passion of mine. I learnt more strategies and practical ideas to reinforce my knowledge and understanding that children who learn how to learn and love learning will be confident, independent learners who succeed in whatever they do. I am already so proud of Giant Class for their enthusiastic attitudes to learning and their values regarding making mistakes and growing their brains! Here's to more learning how to learn this half term as well as gaining more knowledge and skills!
