Amazing Animals! 17.10.13

This week we have been focussing our topic learning on our pets and favourite animals. We have now got a ‘Vets’ in our class; Giant Class have been very caring caterpillars looking after all the animals.

The children have been writing lots and lots this week! They are very excited to now know lots of new sounds and to be able to write these. They have been very confident caterpillars and they have amazed Miss Cook with their amazing writing.

In Maths this week we have been learning about 3D shapes. We have been learning the names of 3D shapes and talking about their properties. We have been on a shape hunt around the classroom and have sorted Miss Cook’s shopping into different 3D shapes. Giant Class have been very conscientious as these shapes are not easy to learn!
