Bonjour and au revoir! 19.07.13

Bonjour! C'est formidable!

What a lot of fantastic learning we have experienced this week. The children have been speaking and listening to French whenever they can. They also made some detailed menus and practised converting pounds and pence into Euros to work out the prices in preparation for our delicious French breakfast. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped to make it such a success.

The children worked conscientiously on their learning about 'Les trois petit cochons' (the Three Little Pigs) by creating storyboards with french text. The stars of the show were the three pigs featured in a Lady Gaga interpretation of the story which Mrs Popkin introduced to us. Definitely worth a watch!

So this brings us to the end of the final blog for this year. We hope you and your family have a relaxing holiday and we look forward to hearing all about your adventures in September. In keeping with our French theme, Trendle Class would like to wish you au revoir et bonne vacances. A bientot!
