A Busy Week!

We were very excited to come in to our classroom on Monday morning to find that our hungry caterpillars were now cocoons! The children were delighted and have loved learning about them all week. We have also made a wormery this week for some worms which was great fun as we had to first find the worms...this was not as easy as you might think...but we were co-operative and found several in the end! We have had lots of lovely visitors and helpers this week in Giant Class which has made our learning great fun, thank you to all of our lovely helpers!

In Literacy this week we have been writing sentences and we have designed our very own superhero mini beasts based on the story 'Superworm'. The children loved this and came up with some fabulous new superheroes and described them.

In Maths learning this week we have been learning how to take away. I wonder if Giant class can show you how to take away at home?!

Giant Class were very excited to visit Trendle class on both Wednesday morning and Thursday all day, they are all looking forward to being in Trendle class and have been telling me all of the exciting things they have been doing!
