Stories for Giles Andreae!

We have been very busy over the past two weeks learning about Giles Andreae's pirate dinosaur stories and planning and writing our own new stories. Giant Class have tried very hard and have produced some amazing learning! They were so good we decided to send them off to Giles Andreae! We wrote a letter to him telling him how much we loved his books and why and enclosed our stories too! We visited the post office on Friday morning, the children got to see their letter being weighed and helped to pay for the stamp. The children were very excited about this experience and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we have a response from Giles Andreae!

Scuba Diving Fun!

Giant Class were very lucky to be taught all about scuba diving by Gabriel's Mum, Rachael. She told us where she went scuba diving, what she had to do to learn and how she recorded her dives and what she saw under the sea. The children were fascinated and enjoyed seeing photos of the creatures Rachel saw. A huge thank you to Rachael!

Giant Class have decided that next week they would like to learn about Giles Andreae's book 'Rumble in the Jungle'.
