Land Dance 19.09.14

This week we had a company called ‘Land Dance’ come to the school to teach Abbey class DANCE. They were very inspiring people and helped our confidence in dance grow throughout the lesson. We started by just looking at moving our bodies, and ended by making up a dance using the three words- jump, spiral and sway. The children were really co-operative and confident, I was really impressed with their learning.

The Land Dance people will be performing at the Valley of the stones in Winterbourne Abbas this weekend if you would like to attend.

In Maths the children have been learning how to add 2, 3 and 4-digit numbers this week. We have made so much progress in our addition skills and confidence that we ended the week by problem solving, and did really well.
