Routes and directions 21.11.13

During this week we have continued to focus on our learnng about routes and directions in our Maths sessions. To link in with our Literacy text about the 'Man on the Moon', we have created 'Moon Maps', showing Bob's route from the Launch Pad to his Moon Base. We have also been learning to describe the location of various features using positional language and co-ordinates.
In Design Technology we have begun production of our rocket models and there are many interestingly-shaped prototypes awaiting completion next week. Thank you to everyone for contributing so many containers to our building project.
Next week we move onto aliens and fantasy Space stories!
