Week 6 - Mr Stink, Speeches and subtraction

Abbey class have had a brilliant week in class with the highlight being some excellent learning about the plight of the orangutans. The children have been learning about the majestic creatures and discovered what has been happening to their habitats due to deforestation. The children decided that they wanted to make a positive difference to their lives so they are in the process of preparing a speech! These speeches will drum up support for the orangutans and enlighten people about what needs to be done to save these beautiful creatures. The speeches will be written next week in class. Watch this space, as the children will have their speeches and some of them might become Cerne Abbas First School famous!
