Antarctica

This week the Trendle class has started their topic work. Our topic includes learning about the Polar regions and the children have decided that we should turn our classroom into Antarctica and the Artic.

We have had great fun researching how we can do this. You can see from the pictures below that our class now has snowflakes on the windows, icicles hanging from the ceiling, a scientists and explorers tent, sledge, warm clothes (to put on when we are in role) and polar animals.

We look forward to next week when we will do some scientific experiments on the best materials to wear in these very cold places.
