'A Small School with a Big Heart'

Art and Design 12.5.16

We have been busy this week in our Art and Design lessons. We have painted our Claude Monet clay water lilies, we have also painted pictures of this painting by using our finger tips and the ends of cotton buds. We have learnt about Napoleon Bonaparte and painted pictures of him. Finally we made our own Jewish Mezuzahs and put a prayer inside. Jewish people have these on their doors and inside is a scroll with Hebrew writing which is called Shema. The Shema is affirmation of Judaism and a declaration of faith in one God. It says that Jewish people should love God and his rules.
