Patterns, Patterns and More Patterns!
We have been particularly enjoying our Maths learning this week. We have been learning how to continue repeating patterns and how to create our own repeating patterns. The children in Giant Class have been very confident caterpillars and have been trying their best with their learning. We have been using a variety of resources in our Maths lessons to create our patterns and children have been continuing this learning in their child-initiated learning (Choosing Time).
We have been enjoying learning the story of The Gingerbread Man this week and have made our very own gingerbread men from salt dough. Tomorrow and next week we will be making real gingerbread men - Yum!
We have been busy practising our songs and dance for the school nativity, Giant Class have been co-operative, helping each other to learn the words during our Choosing Time.
Next week we will be beginning our mini topic on Christmas - let the glitter commence!
