Marvellous Measuring! 06.02.14
In our Maths learning this week we have been learning how to measure. We have measured each other and we have measured our sea creatures from home. We have been very communicative, talking about measuring and using great language to explain our measuring.
In Phonics we have been busy learning two more sounds and learning how to read and write tricky words.
We have been making sea creatures and submarines by junk modelling and have been making boats with the Duplo. Our role play area is now a beach, Giant Class have made some fantastic signs for our Ice Cream shop using their phonics.

Giant Class have taken their role play of being Miss Cook even further and have now learnt how to take photos with the camera. Giant Class have been wanting to take photos of each others learning - this is very useful for Miss Cook!
