A Very Busy Week!

This week in Giant Class we have been having lots of fun learning more about Maths and all things pirate and sea-themed!

Giant class have turned plain cardboard tubes into wonderful pirates, mermaids and parrots this week, as well as going on lots of pirate adventures in our pirate ship!

We have been learning about money and have been counting with money this week in Maths, Giant Class have loved this as we have been doing lots of shop role play, however it has been very challenging and we have had to be all of our values in Maths this week! Perhaps you could empty your purse/wallet at home and see if any Giants can tell you the name of any of the coins?!

In phonics we have been busy reading and writing words and sentences with the air, oi, ow and ur sounds, Giant class have been very confident and we have seen some amazing sentence writing this week!

Giant class have also been busy preparing our growing bed in the Peace Garden ready for planting potatoes next week!

It has been a super fun and busy week!
