Co-operative and independent learning 5.2.15
This week we have had great fun in Literacy. In group we have been planning and writing our own scripts to turn a fairy tale into a play.
In design technology we have then designed and made our own shadow puppets to act out our plays. We have completed some great co-operative learning, and really enjoyed this project. We look forward to practicing our plays and performing them to you next week.
In Computing we have been using espresso coding to learn about writing simple codes for simple goals such as making an object move. Some of us have moved to coding for ‘if’ and ‘when’ situations. For example, if the robot touches the yellow square it stops moving, or the robot will move when it is clicked on. We have enjoyed the independent learning and being able learn at our own pace through espresso coding.
