Super Sporty Week! 26.06.14

This week we have been super sporty preparing for Sports Day. Giant Class tried their very best to practise their races and did so well on the day. Everyone was a great sport and cheered one another on and didn’t get upset if they didn’t win. Miss Cook particularly enjoyed watching the obstacle race! We will remember to ask for short-sleeved shirts next year! Thank you to everyone who came to join in the fun.
In Literacy this week we have been learning the story Dear Zoo and have now written our own Dear Zoo stories! Giant Class have been really Confident and Conscientious. In Maths this week we have been counting in 1s, 2s and 10s and have started to learn number bonds to 10!

In our choosing this week we have been especially enjoying performing in our stage role-play area – dancing to Brazilian Samba music, learning in the water tray and making different animals with the junk modelling.
Next week is a particularly exciting week for Giant Class as they will be visiting Trendle class for Sparklers on Wednesday (2 hours) and for Transfer day on Thursday where they will be with their new teacher all day!
