Spring 1 - First Week Back - Topic Capture
We had a fantastic Topic Capture today.
Activities included...
- Found out about a famous local smuggler, Sir Isaac Gulliver
- Smuggler based invasion game
- A riddle about smuggling
- Smuggling based drama
- Read and listened to Rudyard Kipling’s poem, ‘A smuggler’s song’
- Smuggling based maths word problems
- Learnt how to tie a clover hitch knot
- And finally Invisible Ink!
Lots of inquisitive learning as well as some life-long skills acquired!
A positive, purposeful and enthusiastic atmosphere
