Malawi Animals to Shetland Ponies! 14.6.13

Malawi Animals

We have been so fortunate in Giant Class this week as we have had some amazing learning opportunities. We have had a visit from Mrs.Crisford's daughter who is currently living in Malawi who talked to us all about the animals she sees and works with. We were all very jealous of her!

Giant class impressed her with their knowledge on different animals around the world; we heard about animals from Morocco, France, Eygypt and Canada. Giant Class asked some fantastic questions which were all answered brilliantly. We thank Genevieve for taking the time to come and visit us and for helping us to learn about animals.

Shetland Ponies
Today we have been for a walk to visit Mrs.King in Cerne Abbas who very kindly called and told us about her new foal who had been born just 3 weeks ago. Mrs.King has several Shetland ponies and her new addition is a little baby boy foal called Ash. We all thoroughly enjoyed seeing him and the other Shetland ponies. Giant Class were so courteous and asked such wonderful questions. What fantastic learners they are! Thank you very much Mrs. King, we look forward to seeing Ash grow.

A positive, purposeful and enthusiastic atmosphere
