Inter Multi Skills at DMS
Tue 19 Nov 20134 children from Trendle Class, Silas, Ruth, Millie and Max took part in the Inter Multi Skills Competition at Dorchester Middle School on Tuesday morning. They started off with a pep talk from Mr Dailey and then went and competed in 6 activities, these included how many times could they bounce a ball on a spot, moving 10 objects from hoop to hoop, throwing bean bags into a bucket, rolling a gym ball across the hall, stepping across a ladder and how many times could they fall and get up on a soft mat. We challenged local DASP schools using their skills and determination, finishing 5th out of 7 (only 15 points from 3rd place though!) Finally they played some team games led by the DMS Sports Leaders which was very noisy but hugely entertaining! They did the school and themselves proud and all of them had massive smiles on their faces at the end. A massive thank you to Mrs Horsington who kindly transported the children to and from School.
A positive, purposeful and enthusiastic atmosphere
