Our 'Come & Play' tea party 16.10.24
This afternoon we hosted our 'Come & Play' tea party. This term we have been learning about our own superpowers of love and kindness and how we can share joy with others. We realised that one of the things that makes us feel most joyful is playing with our friends! (And eating tasty treats!!) So we decided to invite members of our village community to join us for the afternoon for a play. We made it special for them by bringing up comfy chairs to our classroom and setting up games and puzzles to play together. We performed our harvest song 'Big Red Shiny Tractor' and some of our favourite poems. We also shared our yummy home baked flapjack and rocky road and offered them a hot drink while we listened to a story. What a lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon! I'm certain you all brightened our visitors afternoons with your bright smiles, giggles and singing. Well done, everyone!
A positive, purposeful and enthusiastic atmosphere
