Learning Exposures
Thu 17 Oct 2013Learning Exposures are a great opportunity for you to find out more about what your child has been learning. Each class offers these half termly.
Please do come along if you can make it.
Giant Class - Monday 21st October - 2:45pm - 3:15pm.
Trendle Class - Tuesday 22nd October - 2:45 - 3:15pm.
Abbey Class - Thursday 24th October - 2:45 - 3:15pm. -

Harvest Festival
Tue 08 Oct 2013We so look forward to seeing many of you at our Harvest Festival on Tuesday at 9.30 am in the Church. The School Council have decided to support the ‘Dorchester Foodbank’ this harvest to help people in the local area who do not have enough food to eat.
On Tuesday we would welcome donations of >-
- Tins of fruit
- Tins of rice pudding
- Tins of sponge puddings
- Jam
- Long life milk
- Tins of vegetables
- Small jars of coffee
- Tins of meat and fish
- Toiletries
We will be taking a collection at the end of the service if you would prefer to donate money instead of goods. Many thanks. -
Seeds and Berries Walk
Tue 24 Sep 2013As part of our commitment to the ‘Trees for Dorset’ Campaign, Trendle Class will be going on a Seeds and Berries Walk during the morning and then in the afternoon Year 1 children will plant their seedlings in the quiet area. These seedlings will be the trees that are planted in memory of their time at Cerne Abbas School when they leave at the end of Year 4.
Please can children wear jeans and have wellies and a warm coat in school for Tuesday.
