Blanket and Book Cosy Day
Fri 20 Apr 2018Children can bring in a blanket and book for a cosy reading day in return for decorated jars of goodies (sweets, buttons, ribbons, small toys, crayons, hair clips etc.) Please make as many as you can. Minimum one per child. If it is more convenient then you can bring your jars in on Monday. -
Easter Bonnet Parade
Thu 29 Mar 2018On the last day of term, Thursday 29th March we are asking children to bring into school home-made bonnets that they can wear during the parade in the afternoon. FOCAS are holding a cake sale after the parade so if you would like to make a home-made cake plus a home-made bonnet that would be great!

Tennis Taster Session

Bring in a Teddy for Heart Response
Fri 02 Feb 2018School Council have organised a ‘Bring in a Teddy’ to school day on Friday 2nd February in aid of a donation for Heart Response. This is School Councils choice for fund raising this term.

Netball festival
Fri 26 Jan 2018Today we took part in a Netball Festival at St Osmunds School, we started off by going around different stations practising our throwing, catching and shooting, we then played a couple of games against other DASP schools.
The children were all our 7 C's throughout the morning and we were extremely proud of them.

Basketball Festival
Wed 29 Nov 2017We arrived for our much anticipated Basketball Festival at St Osmunds Middle School where we were playing other DASP schools. We played some great games with our usual sportsmanship and showed all our 7 C's during these games, it wasn't our best day for winning but that didn't stop the children having smiles on their faces.
Well done to Will, Leo, Jacob, Sam, Charlie E, Martha, Molly and Ella, we were all proud of you!

Multi Skills Festival
Tue 14 Nov 2017Today Henry, Ella, William and Naomi took part in a Multi Skills festival at DMS, they tried these activities:
Speed bounce
Bean bag throwing
Equipment race
Basketball bounce & catch
Big ball rolling
Get up, get down (falling onto large crash mat)
They participated with several other local primary schools, Damers, Prince of Wales. Charminster, St Mary's Catholic and Winterbourne Valley.
We were so proud of all of them, they each showed all our 7 C's, especially being confident and every one of them had a huge smile on their face!
