Safe and Secure Week.
Mon 09 Sep 2013Safe and Secure Week
Monday 9th September to Thursday 12th September is Safe and Secure Week for all children.
We will be focusing on how to keep safe when in and around the school, what consittutes a safe learning environment, road safety, a particular focus on e-safety and how our values help us to make the right choices and stay safe.
Dorset Police will be talking to the children on Tuesday 10th September and leading sessions on e-safety and social networking and mobile safety, at age appropriate levels. There is a special session for parents, led by the Police from 2:30pm in the school hall specifically for parents. All are welcome - you will be suprised what is out there and what your children have the potential of accessing!

Mr Vann is Collectively Considering...
Fri 06 Sep 2013Welcome back everyone! And welcome to our new children in Giant Class and in Abbey Class!
It has been a real pleasure welcoming the children in and getting ourselves settled and ready to learn for this new half term. The children are happy and excited about the new learning they will be involved with over the next 7 weeks. Please remember to check the children's class blogs to find out what they have been learning about and, if you would like some more detail into where the Topic is leading, look at the the Mind Maps and Learning Outline letters under the Curriculum and Letters sections respectively.
Please also remember, if you would like to discuss your child's learning progression or development please do just call or pop in to arrange an appointment.
Kind regards,
David Vann.
