Chance to Shine Cricket 21.03.14

For the last 3 weeks Abbey Class have benefitted from expertise cricket coaching from Sean Fitzgerald through the “Chance to Shine” school’s cricket campaign. They have learnt how to catch, throw, bat and bowl learning various techniques to accomplish each one, using speed, agility and co-odination. They have then applied their new skills in games at the end, showing how well they have improved with their batting and especially their excellent bowling abilities! I’m sure there are some stars for the future! They all thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, as you can see from the photos that we had very adverse weather conditions but not one complaint! Everyone showed what great sports they were and all were extremely confident.
