Week 1 - The invention of Hugo Cabret

The children have been immersed into the text, 'The invention of Hugo Cabret' by Brian Selznick.

As part of their topic (Trust me, I'm an inventor), they have watched the film 'Hugo' in order to

become really engaged with the storyline and to bring the story to life!

In the coming weeks, the children will be studying the text to improve their own writing!

Examples of the children's writing will be published in the coming weeks to showcase their talents!

Next week, we have a trip to Weymouth Pavilion lined up to see the acclaimed poet Michael Rosen.

It should be a fantastic occasion!
