Week 13. Christmas Festivities

The penultimate week :)

This week has been jam packed and the children have had a really enjoyable week thus far. On the Monday we had our learning exposure in the classroom where all of the learning was showcased. The children had the opportunity to impress their parents with what they have learnt and to teach their parents a few new concepts :) On Wednesday, we had our spirituality day. In the morning we learnt about what the word incarnation meant and the origins of baptism. In the afternoon, the whole school headed off to Dorchester where we went to the United Church to go on a nativity journey. As I am writing this, the children are hours away from the first dress rehearsal for the nativity performance, their Christmas lunch, a visit from a special guest and also their Christmas disco. What lucky children they are. I am sure I am speaking on behalf of all the children when I say a big thank you to FOCAS for organising the majority of today :)

On a jolly note, there will be no home learning set this week. Learning in general will commence the first week back as next week will be off time table. Our schedule next week includes a pantomime, nativity performances and many fun Christmas activities :)

Furthermore, with a few days left before our big performance, it is important that the children just rehearse their lines at the weekend for a little bit and then have a rest before next week. Go and enjoy yourself.

Have a super weekend :)
