Pompeii 27.11.14

This week we have had a really great week in the classroom, spending some valuable time on our learning.

The children have been exploring what was happening to the Romans elsewhere in the world whilst they were invading England. We have done this by reading the story- Escape from Pompeii. We will be using this story as a basis for writing our own story set in a historical setting next week.

In PE the children have finished their sessions on basket ball, and are focusing on co-operation and team building. Some of us find this a bit tricky so we have started to learn some important skills and the importance of learning with others to achieve a goal. See some of our pictures below.

We have also started the exciting task of practicing the school play this week, we are going to have to be confident learners to get it right, but it was impressive how much the children already know.
