Week 5 - Doodle, Generosity and Performing!

The children have had another fantastic week in Abbey class.

 

Here are the top three highlights:

 

1.A super confident performance in regards to the Harvest performance on Tuesday morning. It was really great to see children who are normally quite quiet and not particularly fond of speaking in front of others, let alone a big audience, speak really loudly and clearly!

 

2. One of the other talking points in class was our discussion on generosity. A quote by Frank Clark which stated, ' Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out' It brought up some really selfless and mature answers. The children really showed themselves to be caring people :) 

 

3. Creating doodle on Friday afternoon for the FOCAS cookbook which is being produced. All the money raised will go towards the school. The children really enjoyed themselves. :)
