Week 7 - Fire safety, Road Safety and the Police!

Week 7 - Safety Week

Here is the breakdown of Abbey Class' Week 7 Learning!

- Fantastic fire safety talk where the children learnt about 'test it Tuesdays', fire alarms, escape routes and 999 calls

- Police Safety talk where the children were learning about the role of a police community support officer and went through a story, thinking about the right and wrong choices you can make

- Topic Exposure - The children showed their parents their learning from their writing books and helped them create a poster thanking the Ancient Greeks for their lasting legacy

- Road Safety - The children revised their already fantastic knowledge about how to stay safe near road and the strategies to stay safe. The highlight was learning the really catchy song 'Stop, look, listen, think!'

- Skateboarding!

-Learning about words that end in 'ture'!
