Week 3 - Compassion, Crazy Hair Day and the Man on the moon!

Abbey class have had a great week with their learning. The highlight being our drawings that we have produced in our topic lesson. In English, we have been concentrating on the text, 'The invention of Hugo Cabret', and we took inspiration from the text to draw. We focused on a specific picture from the silent film, 'A trip to the moon'. Before drawing, we learnt about the different drawing techniques that we might need to draw the picture effectively. Here are some of the drawings that were produced.

Moreover, Abbey class' film night where they watched Jurassic Park, managed to raise over £150! The money will go towards a class trip next year. A great effort by all and we appreciate the support of all of those involved.
