Autumn Days 16.10.14

This week we have been on our first official ‘Welly Walk’! Unfortunately it was raining very heavily! However, Miss Cook stuck to her saying ‘There’s no such thing as bad weather just poor clothing!’ so off we went! We went searching for signs of Autumn around the playing field and then spent some time jumping and having lots of fun in the puddles on the playground!

We went on our first visit to the computer room where we all enjoyed learning on the computers and we had fun exploring the new tablets too. These went down particularly well! We look forward to using the computers and new tablets in our future learning.

This week in phonics we have been very busy learning some more sounds and we have been reading and writing small words. Giant Class have been SO confident and have been really trying their best.

In Maths, we have been learning about shapes, we have had lots of fun playing shape games to help us learn the names of the shapes and how to describe them.
