Polar Explorer Talk 16.1.17
Mrs Gallia (Lucy's mum) came and spoke to us today about Lucy's great, great, great granddad who was a polar explorer called Sir Francis Leopold McClintock. He went to search for the explorer Franklin. It was really fascinating to hear about his journey and to hear that he advised Captain Scott on what he would need for his journey.
