Reflective Day - Christmas 11.12.18

Today has been one of our reflective days in school. We visited the United Reformed church in Dorchester and took part in 'A Journey to the Stable'. We took part in the journey that Mary and Joseph did when they travelled to Bethlehem, we learnt about the shepherds and the wise men and at the end we visited the stable and thought about what gift we would give to the world if we could give anything. Ideas included food, water, friendship and peace.

Back at the school the other children made a big cross to go into our school window so that whenever anyone walks past  they will see clearly that we are a church school.
