Maths Week 28.03.13
This week has been all about celebrating our love of Maths and considering the importance of Fairtrade products.
We set up a Fairtrade shop in the classroom using the product packaging that you sent in. Thank you! The children then enjoyed buying and selling the goods, and choosing the appropriate coins.
We then spent time learning more about the different types of Fairtrade products and where they come from. The children created some fabulous posters to attract customers to the shop.
During the week we have also worked at improving our mental addition and subtraction skills with Money. Linked to this, the children had great fun searching for coins as part of our Money Trail. There was a big total to add up at the end!
