First Week Back - Spectacular Space!

It has been a very busy, fun-filled week back at school!

Giant Class love our new topic Spectacular Space and we think they will love it even more after our trip to visit an explorer dome. Giant Class particularly enjoy learning in our role play corner at the moment, which is a rocket and the International Space Centre! They have been on some super missions and have been recording their adventures in our log-book!

In our Discovery RE session with Mrs Elvish we all made New Years Resolutions and drew pictures for them as well as writing them down. Perhaps you could ask them what they were?

This week in Phonics we have been learning some new sounds, including ng, ai and ee as well as recapping sh, th and ch which were very tricky last half term. Giant Class have been very confident and conscientious!

In Maths we have been learning how to improve our counting skills to count to even higher numbers and have also been learning how to order numbers.
