Caterpillars! 11.6.21

This week we had a very exciting delivery in the post!! It was a very small parcel with big labels saying 'FRAGILE' and 'OPEN IMMEDIATELY'. We thought about what could be inside!

We opened the box very carefully and found inside a little pot with 5 tiny wriggly caterpillars!! It was very exciting!! They are smaller than the nails on our baby fingers. At the moment they are moving around and munching on the special food at the bottom of their pot. We will be watching them very closely to see how they grow and change. 

Hopefully our caterpillars will help us to feel excited about our new topic, 'Magical Minibeasts!'.
