Week 1 Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This week we have been reading the traditional tale 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. Miss Stephens shared a video of her telling the story in her own words. We had been practising being storytellers too! One of our challenges this week was to make finger puppets and retell the story with Goldilocks and the bears! 

On Friday we had our 'Learning Capture' for our new topic. It was a Fairytale Dress up day! We all dressed up as our favourite fairytale/story characters and shared pictures of our costumes on Tapestry, Google Classrooms and on our school Facebook page. We also had the opportunity to share our costumes with some of our school friends and Teachers via video call. It was so lovely to see everyones smiles and hear about their learning at home. 

Next week we will be reading a different traditional tale, 'Jack and the Beanstalk'!.
