Reflective Day 25.11.15

This week we had our first Reflective Day. The theme was about Advent and the Christmas story. We started the day with a whole school gathering and heard the Christmas story. We then spent the day in each class learning about the angles, the wise men and Mary and Joseph. Activities involved Drama, art, computing and writing.

We discussed which part of the story we thought was the most important and why. We finished the day with a whole school worship and had a reflective time thinking about how Jesus transformed the world and how we can also transform the world by kind actions. The day was a good way of starting Advent and considering the true meaning of Christmas.
